Programme
At 9am you are picked up by an organised Eurohike transfer from your hotel and taken to the
start of the tour in Calhau. You will have a short stop en route in Santana for a chance to see
traditional houses of Madeira. In Calhau you walk from the beach up to the Levada do Rei.
Finish of your tour today is the hydro-sawmill in Achadinha, an excellent cultural relic! Here you
get picked up by an organised Eurohike transfer.
Please be there on time at 4pm. Subsequently you enjoy an interesting journey along the wild
Northern coast all the way to Sao Vicente for your overnight stay.
